‘A woman diagnosed with MS after losing the ability to walk claims her symptoms were actually the result of mercury poisoning from dental fillings.

Eighteen months after Maria Indermuhle had dental treatment, doctors told the 32-year-old she had the lifelong crippling illness multiple sclerosis.

They warned the then 29-year-old the condition would leave her unable to walk and prepared her for a life on medication – crushing her dreams of becoming a mother.

But Mrs Indermuhle, who is from Inverness but lives in Switzerland, is now back to full health, having had the fillings she claims were responsible, removed.’

‘Communities are to be paid £1m a year simply to discuss the possibility of having a radioactive dump built beneath them, under the latest Government attempts to find a burial site for Britain’s nuclear waste.

Areas which subsequently allow test drilling to take place could reap a total of £40m in payments with “no strings attached” before deciding whether to proceed with the project.

Ministers were accused of opting for a “bribing and bullying” strategy after unveiling the plans and admitting that councils in areas considering hosting the dump would no longer have a guaranteed veto to block its construction.’

‘Blackpool and the Fylde could see huge anti-fracking protests next month with as many as 1,000 protestors camping out, a national campaign group has said.

Members of No Dash For Gas, an organisation of activists and campaigners, are to stage a Reclaim the Power action camp near Blackpool.

They say it will be similar to the one which stopped Cuadrilla drilling for six days in Balcombe last year.

But businesses in Blackpool have blasted the idea fearing it will damage tourism and cost a fortune in policing.’

‘A fracking firm’s plans to explore for shale oil in West Sussex have been unanimously rejected by the council, in a blow to government hopes of a UK shale boom.

Celtique Energie had been seeking permission to drill through shale rocks near the village of Wisborough Green. If it found oil, it would have then sought permission to frack at the site to extract it.

But West Sussex council threw out the drilling application on Tuesday, amid fierce local opposition to the prospect of lorries passing through the tranquil village 24 times a day.’

‘The petroleum and natural gas extraction process known as hydraulic fracturing is becoming more common in the United States, especially in the East. This method injects water, sand, and chemicals deep into rock formations, creating fractures that allow petroleum and natural gas to migrate toward the drilled out well.

More people are beginning to voice concern over this method of extraction, citing environmental and health concerns. Fracking can contaminate the ground water and deplete fresh water sources. Some seismologists have tied excessive fracking to regional earthquake activity. Fracking not only damages air quality but also causes local noise pollution. When migrating gases and hydraulic fracturing chemicals rise to the surface, they readily contaminate the land and poison people.’

‘Stigma, pay cuts, and risk of radiation exposure are among the reasons why 3,000 employees have left the utility at the center of Japan’s 2011 nuclear disaster. Now there’s an additional factor: better paying jobs in the feel good solar energy industry.

Engineers and other employees at TEPCO, or Tokyo Electric Power Co, were once typical of Japan’s corporate culture that is famous for prizing loyalty to a single company and lifetime employment with it. But the March 2011 tsunami that swamped the coastal Fukushima Daiichi plant, sending three reactors into meltdown, changed that.

TEPCO was widely criticized for being inadequately prepared for a tsunami despite Japan’s long history of being hit by giant waves and for its confused response to the disaster. The public turned hostile toward the nuclear industry and TEPCO, or “Toh-den,” as the Japanese say it, became a dirty word.’

Now, the company is refusing to release to the public lab tests conducted in St. Louis, Missouri, which gave them authority to use glyphosate in China.’

‘Depending on whom you ask, so-called “free energy devices” are either a total hoax or a systematically suppressed technology that’s being kept away from the public. There’s a lot of interesting ground to cover on this subject of “over unity devices,” but that’s not the point of this article. Instead, let’s look at an unintended side effect of free energy devices that even the free energy proponents don’t usually realize exists.

And here it is: if free energy technology were to be developed and openly shared with the world, it would very rapidly lead to runaway global warming. I don’t mean by emitting greenhouse gasses because obviously such devices don’t burn fossil fuels. What I mean is literal, actual WARMING: the production of heat that’s released into the atmosphere. Joules and BTUs, in other words.’

Private cartels run rings round the regulators. Consumers and politicians are bamboozled by commercial secrecy and contractual complexity. Workforces have their pay and conditions slashed. Control of essential services has not only passed to corporate giants based overseas, but those companies are themselves often state-owned – they’re just owned by another state.’
