Egypt not cooperating on aid delivery to Gaza: Iran MP
‘The Egyptian government refuses to cooperate for the dispatch of medical and humanitarian aid to the besieged Gaza Strip, a senior Iranian lawmaker says.
On Wednesday, spokesman for the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Committee Seyyed Hossein Naqavi Hosseini criticized Egypt’s policies regarding the Israeli regime’s onslaught on Gaza, saying Cairo has not issued the permit needed for the delivery of relief aid to the blockaded Palestinian territory.
“Cairo is not providing the necessary cooperation for sending medicines and humanitarian aid to Gaza,” he added.’
