Cameron and Juncker meet in Brussels
‘British Prime Minister David Cameron has met with European Commission President-elect Jean-Claude Juncker for the first time after failing to block his EU appointment.
Cameron held one-on-one talks with Juncker on Thursday morning following a summit of European leaders in Brussels, Belgium.
“The Prime Minister set out his vision for reform of the EU and the UK’s relationship with it,” said Cameron’s spokesman, adding, “Mr Juncker reiterated his commitment, set out in his manifesto, to work with Britain and the other member states to address the concerns of the UK over the next few years.”‘
